The vehicle is a 1987 Porsche 944S and has the dual overhead cam, 2.5L engine. Less than 3,000 miles ago it had a complete timing belt maintenance performed , the water pump, water cooler seals, radiator, and all other belts were replaced at that time as well. The interior is clean, with the 1985.5 and newer dash with a CD player installed, there is a rip in the leather of the backrest of the driver seat. The car has a 50-50 weight ratio and is an exceptional vehicle for autocross events. It will be sold with the stock, phone dial rims and tires, not the ones currently on it which are from a boxster. The car has always been serviced and has ALL RECORDS. Now for the bad, it was in a rear end collision and I have removed all of the front end items in order to assess the damage, most of the parts are fine and are included in the auction. According to the collision shop, the car will need a new hood (as it has a slight crease on the side), a new right headlight, and new Porsche emblem center (which crosses between the headlights on the front). The right side fender has some damage, however the shop said it was easily repairable. The other bad item is the crumple zone on the right front is creased about 1.5 inches back, a quote from a couple of shops puts the estimates around $400 to have it straightened.
