Vehicle Detail
I am selling my Pearl red 1973 Suzuki GT 750 K this is an oil injected 2-stroke 750cc liquid cooled triple. “the GT standing for Grand Tourismo” . Other nick names for this bike are Le Mans, Kettle and later on in the production run they were called the water buffalo. This bike is beautiful; I have not seen a better example in person. The bike runs great and only has 9331 miles on it. This is a rare bike and you rarely see this color. The bike is original and very clean. Manufactured 9/72 this is a very early 1973 model. The bike was stored in a temperature controlled environment. 40 years old this year. Please read the entire add before bidding. ENGINE: The bike runs great and was just serviced. Everything works on this bike except for the temp gauge, I have not diagnosed the issue but I am sure this will be an easy fix. The carburetors were ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt with new parts. New Battery, All fluids were changed and new spark plugs. The bike also has a new set of points and condensers along with a new starter clutch. The Fuel Petcock was replaced with a new OEM part, this was not cheap. All work was done by a certified MMI mechanic. BODY: The paint and chrome are original and in AMAZING condition for being a 40 year old machine. There are a few small dings on the right side of the tank, barely noticeable. The inside of the gas tank is in great shape, no rust issues. The seat is nice with no tears in it at all. One of the fork ears has a ding in it. Please inspect all pictures for condition. I added plenty of pictures that show everything. The bike attracts a lot of attention everywhere it goes, be prepared to make new friends. This is truly a nice example that I will probably not come across again. The bike will be missed. CHASSIS: The bike rides very nice. Tires feel great as does the suspension. The front brake assembly has been upgraded. It has a modern master cylinder along with new Galfer Stainless steel brake lines. This setup works great. The original rubber brake lines were bad. I have the original master cylinder that would need to be rebuilt. These parts are included and come with the bike. There is a tool kit under the seat. V.I.N GT75035194 I think I have gone through everything. Don’t miss out. Examine all pictures and ask any questions before bidding. The bike is 40 years old if you are reading this I am sure that you are familiar with these old bikes. I bought this bike as you see it at the end of last season and I have only put 200 miles or so on it. I am an enthusiast with a great appreciation for the classics. The bike is sold with a NH registration (in my name) and bill of sale. New Hampshire does not issue titles for anything over 15 years old (non-title state). You will be able to obtain a title in any state with no problems. The bike comes with a 1973 Cycle world magazine with this bike on the cover. It has a great write up inside. New owner will enjoy reading. The bike is SOLD AS IS no warranty. If you have negative or zero feedback you must email me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. I have been burnt by new ebayers too many times in the past. Email me to show you are serious. This Bike must be picked up from Lowell MA 01852. I would like it picked up within 2 weeks. I have no problems with meeting a shipper but the buyer must set that up. NO PAYPAL accepted. If shipping the bike you can send a check and the bike can be picked up after payment has cleared. Or payment can be made in cash upon pickup.
