1 992 CADILLAC FLEETWOOD BROUGHAM FULLY LOADED - EXCELLENT CONDITION – Over $23,000 Invested! PIONEER FLATSCREEN GPS NAV & ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM with DVD, CD, RADIO, MP3, iPOD CONTROLLER, LIVE TRAFFIC, XM/SIRIUS AND BLUETOOTH! NO RESERVE! CLICK ON PIX TO ENLARGE This caddy is an original, garage kept, numbers matching, meticulously maintained 2 Owner SURVIVOR. I’ve treated it to over $23,000 worth of pampering, repair and maintenance since I purchased it in 2006 (see details below). With the PIONEER GPS NAV & ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM you get that classic caddy style with the best of today’s digital technology! 1 992 was the last year for this classic body style and only 1 3,76 1 were produced making them very rare and a good investment. Every single option, accessory, system and feature on this car works correctly - from the power antenna to the fiber optics, to the Auto-Level System to the electronic trunk release and everything else in between. The engine and transmission are smooth, powerful and quiet. There are no clicks, clacks, clanks, rattles, squeeks, shimmys or shakes - just quiet, smooth shifting Cadillac Comfort & Power. All regular maintenance has been performed - with regular oil changes every 2,000 to 3,000 miles - the transmission has been serviced, regularly, with a new filter and full 1 2 quart fluid exchanges. In 2008 (72k miles) I noticed an antifreeze smell – when we got her up on the lift, it looked like coolant was seeping from the passenger side head gasket. I decided to do a full top end engine overhaul ($4,000). Got that all done and the engine ran GREAT, but the antifreeze smell was still there. Turns out that the heater core was leaking, and that's all that was wrong in the first place. So the entire top end of this engine was renewed in 2008 when she had about 72K miles on her and she runs like a top-of-the-line caddy should! Long story short, I have over $ 1 3,000 in receipts from 2006 to 20 1 1 - they are in the glove box and they go with the car (all of the details are listed below). During 20 1 2, my nephew was studying at Lincoln Technical Institute to get his ASE Certification and this caddy became a project for the graduating class. They loved working on this caddy and took great pride in doing so. The instructors oversaw, inspected and approved all of the work that was performed – so I went crazy on OEM parts and got as much done as I could. This is in ADDITION to the $ 1 3,000 in receipts that are in the glove box. Service Performed in 20 1 2 - Lincoln Technical Institute Complete New Brake System New Master Cylinder New Front Rotors New Ceramic Brake Pads New Front Wheel Bearings New Front Grease Seals New Front Calipers New Front Brake Hoses New Rear Brake Drums New Rear Wheel Cylinders New Rear Brake Shoes New Rear Brake Hardware (springs, clips, auto-adjusters, etc.) Full brake system flushed and filled with top quality synthetic brake fluid. New Front Shocks New Rear Air Shocks (and YES, the auto-level system works correctly!) New Front Suspension Link Bushings New Power Steering Hoses Power Steering System Flush New Transmission Filter with 1 2 quart Fluid Exchange Rear Differential Serviced New Radiator New Heater Core New Coolant Overflow Reservoir New Thermostat New Upper/Lower Hoses & Cooling System Flush Complete A/C Service (cleaned, flushed, vacuumed & recharged) New A/C compressor relay Full Tune Up (GENUINE AC DELCO PARTS) New Spark Plugs New Spark Plug Wires New Distributor Cap & Rotor New Vacuum Lines Engine - Top End Cleaning PCV Valve/Breather/Air Filter New Driver's Door Window motor and 4-way window switch New Power Door Lock Controller Module with Central Unlock New Parking Brake Vacuum Release Actuator New Sylvania Blue Star Halogen Headlights I spent a few thousand on the parts - and the labor would have cost MANY THOUSANDS more. When you combine this with the full service history from 2006 to 20 1 1 (see below) - it's easy to understand why this caddy runs like new and needs nothing but a good home. If I had all of that work done at a Cadillac Dealer - I'm sure it would have cost close to $ 1 0,000 (conservatively) - therefore, I think it’s fair to say that this gorgeous caddy has had $23,000 worth of professional repair and maintenance since I bought it in 2006. Mechanically, this car is in perfect condition, it needs nothing. Every time I take it in for service, the mechanics marvel at the condition of this car. When they first open the hood, the most frequent comments are "this car is untouched" - and "there's not a single leak, ANYWHERE!” I also had a PIONEER AVIC-D3 GPS NAV & ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM along with all New Speakers professionally installed. You can navigate anywhere in North America , it's loaded with a searchable database of over 2 million destinations – it even has a phone-number-to-address cross reference built in. J ust enter a phone number and off you go... if you stray from the recommended route, the Nav System will automatically re-route and re-calculate on its own. You can watch DVDs on the In-Dash Flatscreen, listen to CDs, play the radio, set up SIRIUS or XM radio service, get live traffic updates, plug in your MP3 player, control your IPOD, talk on your Bluetooth, add a rear view camera..etc.. etc. Cosmetically, this caddy is in excellent condition for a classic survivor as the 65 pics show. I've always kept it clean and dry, and it’s been professionally cleaned and waxed every 3 months since I've owned it. I took it to a body shop when I first got it back in 2006, to ask if this was the original paint. The body tech I talked to had over 30 years of experience so I had him take a good look at it. He pointed out that the original "painted on" pin striping was clearly visible on top of the paint which is a sure sign of original paint on these classic caddys. He saw no signs that the car had ever been repainted - he even removed a piece of trim from the trunk lid just to make sure. He did think that the rear fender extensions had been replaced because the couple inches of pin striping that's on the extensions is a decal, not painted on. He also thought that the clear coat on the front fenders had been touched up at some point. The finish on this car is excellent - its straight, it's clean - and it looks as good in person as it does in the pics! The interior is the leather option and it’s in excellent condition. It’s hard to imagine, but this caddy actually still retains some of its original "new car smell". I've used only top quality LEXOR pH Balanced Leather Cleaner and Conditioner to clean and maintain it. The beautiful interior of this car has never been molested with cheap caustic chemicals, "pine tree" air fresheners, or gooped up with layer upon layer of Armor-All. I bought this caddy in 2006 with 37k miles - it now has 1 1 2k miles - but it's mostly highway miles - I drove it from Maryland to Tennessee on business each month. All in all, this caddy was out of the garage one week a month for most of the time I've owned it. Overall, it’s a very clean car that's in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. There are a few cosmetic issues that I was planning to work on in the springtime – here’s the list – no surprises or dissapointments. 1 . Normal wear on driver’s seat and center console cover (see pics). The rest of the interior is perfect. 2. Small rust spot in driver’s door jam – (see pics)- no other rust. 3. Rear bumper is starting to show signs of pitting on the lower horizontal section (doesn’t show in pics) – all other chrome is perfect. 4. Small area where paint was touched up around the power antenna before I bought the car – very small area – can’t see it unless you’re very close up. Other than those cosmetic issues this car is in excellent condition. I would drive it across country right now with no worries at all. Here is the full service history from 2006 to 20 1 1 - it shows the mileage, work performed and the costs. All of the receipts are in the glove box and they go with the car. Each receipt shows my name, address, tag number and/or the VIN# of this beautiful caddy! This is not B.S. - there are over $ 1 3,000 in receipts IN ADDITION to the $ 1 0,000 worth of work done in 20 1 2 at Lincoln Technical Institute. Long story short, I never planned to sell this car, and that's why I put so much time and money into it - but I have no choice - I have to let her go. I have the original owner's manual, hub cap lock tool, all of the paper work from when I bought the car – and a trunk full of “goodies” (see pics) everything is included. This car runs and looks like NEW – I have described everything honestly - no surprises or disappointments here.
