Up for auction is my rare and beautiful 1961 Karmann Ghia Convertible. This vehicle was lightly restored in the mid-1990s, and hasn't had much done to is since then. This is the perfect starting point for a quick and easy restoration project, as most of the work is already complete. The motor runs like a clock, and it is a blast to drive. It gathers a crowd every time I take it out. The interior is in need of some love, as the old seat and door covers are a little dirty. There is an interior chrome door trim piece missing on the passenger side. It will need a fresh battery. The convertible top is in working, but tired shape and the rear plastic window became unstiched. The paint is bright and clean for the most part, but there are a few bubbles around the lower portions, as seen in the photos. I tried to get as many detailed photos as I could. I hate to let this car go but I just don't have the time or money to give her what she really needs, and it's just too rare and sweet of a car.
