1970 torino gt convertible, this has been in a guys garage since 1980. The vin denotes it as a factory 302 car but the car now has a 70 351 4v cleveland in it. I'm sure most of you that were interested in the other vert that is currently listed will have some interest in this and my reserve is way lower. We will call this one the poor mans version of the other one currently listed. Car needs total restore, needs both full quarters and the trunk is shot along with a dented up gas tank. ALL metal in trunk will need replaced. This car will probably need a nice clean hardtop for sheetmetal to rebuild it correctly. Drivers rear floor pan needs a replacement also. The other 3 look solid, the torques and frame rails are all good on this car along with the cowl. This car will need no apron work either as it appears very clean. Fenders/doors do have some rust but nothing that cant be patched. Car appears to have its original paint. Back decklid does have a little rusty spot under the corner and the back bumper has a dent. Showed pic of the 4 on the head. Car also comes with the original set of steel rims and dog dish style hubs trim rings. Car has a 1970 351 4v cleveland in it currently that will start with gas being poured into the carb, sounds pretty good too. Supposed to have only 300 miles on it since rebuilt in 88. Motor also has headers on it. It has a c6 transmission and the original 8 inch rear end that came with the car. Top is there but will probably need replaced as its rear window is missing. Its motor makes the noise but top does not go down. Again this car is going to need a full restore and not for the rookie metal guy. Cool stuff on car, pretty nice hideaway grille that has most if not all the parts including the bladder tank(its missing the end egg crate covers and has some repairs) the grille probably needs restored like all torino grilles do, console in car, cyclone seats, dashpad has a couple of cracks which is very typical. Car has power steering and power disc brakes. Car currently has cyclone door panels on it, I will be removing them and the auction will include the original torino gt door panels. Will have more pics tom, cyclone door panels not included! Also just to clear things up, this is a f code(302) car with a 8 inch rear end. The prior owner installed the cleveland, seats and hideaway. I don't have a marti report on this car. I know a guy in Texas whos got a nearly rust free vert rear clip for 300 dollars that I will forward the winning bidder the info to. Just want to state again this car is going to need a complete rear clip(quarters, wheel wells, trunk and drop offs) and a passenger rear floor pan. CYCLONE DOOR PANELS NOT INCLUDED! But like I said I do have the original black gt door panels. And I will give the winning bidder the info on the rear clip with very very little rust for 300 dollars to the high bidder. Had to go back and get an Indiana Bill of sale sheet to include with title at bmv. Was sent out today not yesterday. Will have clear title by mid next week. If any interested parties are concerned with this send me your email and I can forward my title transfer paperwork. Lady at bmv said it had been many years since she had seen a title that old. Whomever wins car can wait till title comes to me in the mail to arrange payment and pickup!
