This is a Type 1 1969 Light Blue Beetle. Air-cooled engine (of course), manual transmission. Runs great but needs regular maintenance like all old cars. There is rust in places (typical for an old Bug) but not serious. There is a dent in the front fender near the front bumper. No AC.We have pumped a lot of dough into getting this girl running good. Not completely sure about the mileage. The guy we bought it from wasn't completely honest with us about the car. But you might as well surmise that there are at least 150,000 miles on it. I think the odometer says 148000. Currently using as a local daily driver in Katy, TX. I'll be taking more detailed pics and will email them to interested buyers. Parts replaced in the last year: Generator and generator shims Fan Belt Fuel Pump Carburetor Complete brake system--master cylinder, brake lines, shoes Signal switch CV Joints Gas Cap Title is CLEAR. Next inspection due April 2013. Registration sticker is good until August 2013. Seats are in GREAT condition. In order to protect them further from sunlight, I covered the back and front seats with excellent quality Dickies seat covers. Carpeting is in good condition. Glove box is small and it locks but not very well. Transmission is ok but like any car with a manual tranny, you have to get used to its quirks. Car has original radio. Other than engine parts and tires, most of the parts on this car are original. We have some extra parts for replacing the seals around the windows that we'll give the winner too.
