This is a 1996 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Performance Package T-Top 5.7L 6-speed manual. The car is fully loaded with all the power options: power locks, power windows, keyless entry with remote control, cruise control, ABS, power mirrors, power seats with power lumbar support, leather interior, motorized headlights, fog lamps, T-tops with sun shades and ice cold A/C. The exterior is in good condition, in factory appearance, no aftermarket exterior accessories or wheels. Overall the silver paint is glossy with the exception of a few door dings (see pictures - although hard to capture). The factory 5 spoke chrome wheels have brand new Falken 275/45/17 rubber, with less than 1000 miles on them. The interior remains factory with the exception of a boost gauge on the driver's side pillar and boost select switch mounted in the center console ashtray. The graphite leather interior is in good shape, with very little wear on the seat bolsters (the normal tearing of the driver's lower cushion is not present). The dash does have a crack in the plastic piece although I could not get a good picture of it. It basically runs near center of the dash from windshield to dash fascia. The engine is built for the turbo, with a 9:1 compression ratio, forged speed pro pistons, scat rods, 53cc heads, 30lb injectors, Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator, FelPro 1074 head gaskets, ARP head bolts, Pacesetter long tube headers, custom y-pipe, MSD pro billet distributor with adjustable timing, MSD Blaster Coil, MSD 6AL ignition box, CSR electric water pump, Methanol injection with boost reference, Mobil 1 synthetic oil always used. Custom dyno tuned computer programming to match engine modifications performed by Dream Chaser Racing Engines. The turbo is an STS rear mount setup with Tial waste gate with selectable boost levels, blow off valve, upgraded oil return pump and lines, upgraded clamps and hoses on the charge piping. The attitude and power from this setup is very exciting to drive. DynoJet results show 327.9 HP and 407.7 Torque at low boost (5 psi) and 516.4 HP and 544.7 torque on high boost (10 psi with methanol injection) at the rear wheels while retaining factory drivability and creature comforts - yes it still has cold A/C!
