Vehicle Detail
I had to upgrade to a larger vehicle so it is time to sell my beloved 1992 325ic. This is the last year of the e30s, and hard to find in a manual! I love this car and was planning on fully restoring but I don't have a garage and can't keep two cars... I searched around and at one point owned 3 e30s trying to find the right one.I purchased the car 3 years ago with 136k on it and it now has 163k. I went through and fixed most of the little things that were broken/not working... i.e. antenna, glove box, lights, airbag light, window switches, stereo, blower motor speeds, etc. It has been a great car and has never broken down on me with multiple trips from NYC to Maine and NYC to Miami. Engine and manual transmission feel great.Basics;1992 BMW 325ic163k Milesm3 spring/bilstein sport shocksnice dark blue sport interior (redone before I purchased)weighted zhp shift knob and nice pedalsgood overall condition but needs some paint touch upruns greatHere is my list of repair work;1/2010 - front end rebuilt (m3 Control arm bushings, sway bar links, control arms replaced.)1/2010 - Exhaust was also replaced at that time along with all fluids and coolant temp sensor8/2010 - fan clutch and themostat replaced9/2010 - stereo and new speaker wires run. All Alpine (speakers and head unit, including door tweeters) alpine spr-13s components front, Alpine SPS-500 rear, alpine cda-105 head unit12/2010 - air filter, plugs etc.9/2010 - antenna was replaced2/2011 - suspension replaced with m3 springs and bilstein sport shocks and upgraded rear shock mounts2/2011 - brakes redone with turner kit (pads, rotors, fluid)2/2011 - Ronal LSs installedOther Notes; It has an electric top, the motor runs but there is a broken rod so does not function. It works fine manually. It runs very well, suspension feels tight, shifter is good. The Interior was redone (sport) before I got it and is still in nice condition.Alarm installed, unlocks but does not lock. You have to lock it from the trunk (sometimes...).The tires are good, I just replaced the rear two when I had a blow out about two months ago on NJ Turnpike. I'll include one good spare tire as well. The Bad; Some minor rust around. Especially near rear drivers wheel well. It looks like this area had some repair work done not so well, please see pictures. There are also some other dents/imperfections around which are pretty normal for a 20+ year old car.Its time for timing belt/water pump soon. I have all parts and will include them with the sale. The top has some small holes covered in rubber (small) and some roofing tar on the rear window. it was like this when I purchased it and I never got around to replacing. Please get in touch to schedule a test drive.
