I purchased this T-Bird in 1983 and have garage stored car the entire time I've owned it. I usually drive it every summer in the Woodward & Downriver dream cruise. Between the years 1998-2000 extensive work was done on engine and trans including... rebuilt transmission and motor, new stainless steel exhaust, gas shocks, re-built generator, new ball joints, control arm bushings, sway bar link ( L&R) motor mounts, rubber bushings, U joints, master cylinder, voltage regulator, wiring harness, trans mounts, crank seal, timing chain, all new gaskets, trans lines and oil pump, gas tank, starter, fuel pump, power steering cylinder, front & rear brake cylinders & brake lines. All parts replaced with new ( not used) . Power steering, brakes and engine all working great. Car body is in good condition. No rust. Passenger door has scratch. Paint is not perfect but very presentable. Chrome on bumpers is like new. Interior of car looks great, carpets, seats and dashboard. Speedomator and RPM gauges work. Temp. gauge and clock does not work. If you are looking for a WAY COOL car to drive on the summer weekends this car is the one. This T-Bird is priced to sell so please, serious inquires only.
