This 1985 Jeep CJ7 has the potential of being a great jeep. Lots of new parts and body work started. New steering box, new tires, new interior,brake pads, new radio and speakers. All gauges work and interior is really nice considering a 27 year old vehicle. Replaced the heater core and fan switch. Newer exhaust and hangers. Engine runs and sounds strong but there is a slight puffing noise coming out of the carb. A previous owner patched the floor panels and some of the main body parts and had it painted with a fresh coat of Red. The frame has some rust and two of the six body mounts should be replaced. I had a professional welder check the frame and all was solid. This jeep is no way perfect but is a great jeep for someone looking to have an easy restoration or for just a cool cruiser. I had the oil changed, brake pads, steering box, and heater system just done professionally. Jeep starts right up every time. I will assist in shipping or would consider delivering by trailer within 200 miles for a fee.
