Enjoy the snow in my very low mileage 4x4. Only 52,000 miles. Light suburban driving -- no off-roading, no plowing, no accidents. Owned by me since 2001 (bought from the local Jeep dealership). Shiny, ding-free, rust free original paint. No tears, wear or damage to the seats. Engine runs strong, transmission shifts smoothly, drives great. New brakes this month, new battery, good tires (one new this month). A few minor problems, consistent with its age: small scratches on rear bumper, a few small marks on the headliner (but no sagging), some small stains on front carpets, worn paint on the wheels, one plastic hub cover trim missing. Overall, an excellent low mileage vehicle. Deposit of $500, via PayPal, within 24 hours of auction close. Full payment required within 3 days of auction close -- cash in person, or cashier's check. Here is a summary of my answers:-- Engine runs strong and smoothly. Transmission shifts smoothly. No leaks from engine or trans.-- Undercarriage and frame look great. I am attaching photographs to show condition. Low mileage = very low exposure to salt.-- I replaced only one tire because it had a side wall flat. No issue with uneven wear, alignment, etc. One additional item -- I noticed today that the tail gate support arms are not supporting it in the up position. Replacements are available (new) on eBay for $25. Here is a summary of my answers: -- Oil/filter changes have been at 5,000/12 months. Most recent was this month.-- Oil pressure: cold idle, 40 psi; cold running 45-50. Warm idle, almost 40 (38/39); warm running 45-50.-- No engine knock.-- 4x4 engages smoothly. -- Transmission operates smoothly, with no delays, noises, etc.-- Other than the tail gate arms, I don't know of any immediate repairs needed. -- Vehicle is available for inspection by any serious bidder.
