On Jan-15-13 at 07:46:36 PST, seller added the following information: 128,909 miles on it. It appears that 66,000 miles was put on the van in the past 16 years. Although, the Bus had been sitting for some time (guessing by the plate 3-4 years), it fired right up and runs smoothly and does not smoke. I went through all gears and had the van up to 55 MPH. An Ebay Member Commented from the pictures that someone has put a type I (Beetle)engine in lieu of the type II engine that was stock. Please evaluate the bus accordingly Someone obviously put work into this van over the years. The Haynes manual was in the van along with an older engine head, new rotors which have not been installed. Very cool tie-dyed curtains and front curtains give a van a complete look. Brakes are weak and tires are not road worthy for a distance other than a test ride. The Ignition wiring has been bypassed and modified with a start button and switch; however, the ignition w/key and wires are intact. Lights and wipers all appear work, the radio is missing but the original faceplate is present.  Floor Boards and Frame are Solid but have surface rust. I priced all Lower body panels to repair lower rust at bughaus.com for under $800. All the Glass is in Great Condition except for the windshield which is cracked. Obviously, the camper canvass needs replaced as pictured. All camper top framework and top locks work as they should. SOLD AS IS. THESE ARE $50K FULLY RESTORED NOW AND THEY ARE CHEAP TO RESTORE! I PERSONALLY LIKE THE ORIGINALITY!
