Selling this clean So.Cal only 1967 Pontiac GTO Hardtop with full PHS documentation, including owners manual and factory build sheet. The car is complete with a fresh body-on restoration to include a beautiful, original Silverglaze paint job completed in 2011. I am the 2nd owner, purchased it in 2008 from the original owner, the following is true, a little old lady who drove it from 1967 until 2008, when she passed away. She bought the car, didn't like the silver and painted it gold, hence the re-paint back to original factory color. The top is a new black cordova with fresh moldings and gaskets. The body and frame is in perfect condition, being a So.Cal car its entire life, rust has never been an issue. Doors, fenders, trunk and hood seams are straight and perfect. All the chrome has either been replaced or re-chromed and is in very good condition. The cordova top is new and in great shape, this black vinyl hardtop really looks good with the silver body, a popular combination. Interior restoration is also first class. The front bench seat along with the fold-down armrest has been covered in leather, rear seat is heavy duty vinyl, new carpets, headliner, sun visors and door panels all make this GTO look like showroom condition. Glass is perfect with no cracks or imperfections. All electrics work with the exception of 2 small items, the clock and very recently the speedometer stopped, both of which I am currently fixing and hope to have completed by the sale. The heater fan also is noisy and will be addressed. Other than these 3 small issues, the car is perfect. Odometer says 57,000 miles, at this point, still trying to verify mileage, however, the original owner has passed and she was the only driver, so it may be correct, but I am disclosing all known information for the buyer. The 400 cubic inch, 4 barrel, 335 HP engine, transmission and rear-end are original / matching numbers. It runs beautiful after a recent complete tune-up. This numbers-matching car comes with power steering, power brakes and factory-installed air conditioning. The Rally Sport rims sit on period correct BFG Redline tires, P22570R15, complete new dual exhaust from front to back. Steering is good, a little play in the wheel, which is normal for a 45-year-old car. Car is located in Mission Viejo, CA. TERMS OF SALE All inspections must be done before the auction ends.
