Vehicle Detail
I have for your consideration a 1939 Plymouth 4 door sedan. It is a great project car that is 75% complete. It has a Camaro Sub frame with all new bushings. The ball joints, springs and shock’s are new. The car has 373’s non-posi rear from a 1978 Nova. There are new brakes, brake lines, hardware kits and drums. The complete exhaust system is new front to back with glass packs and exits out behind the rear wheels. The motor was professionally rebuilt. It is a 350 V-8 bored 30 over, has 10-1 flat top pistons, crane double roller timing chain with new crank and 501 lift cam. It has a New Demon carburetor and MSD Distributor. The transmission is a turbo 350 and was completely and professionally rebuilt with a new 2800 stall torque converter. The doors open and close tight and the car need’s very little to be finished. The lights and dash have to be wired, along with installing the gas tank and gas lines. The original gas tank is included in this auction. The car starts up, runs down the road straight, shifts perfect and sounds great. The car has all new paint. It’s Plum crazy purple with pink pearl fenders. The hood and running board's are included but need to be finished. The trim is in good shape but missing top grill piece and one side piece. A few windows have age cracks but they all work. Wheels and tires are in fair condition. The car is selling at a very reasonable reserve; you can’t paint this car for the set reserve price. I am selling the car because I have no room for inside storage and currently to many projects. The new owner should have the car hauled with trailer and at the purchasers expense. The only trade's I will even consider is a 1964 to 1970 mustang. I have a clear Pa title in hand. Please call or email any questions. Jim 570-690-2419 EST The car is located in N.E Pa. and you are more than welcome to come look at the car before you bid. Thank you and Happy Bidding..On Jan-11-13 at 08:00:03 PST, seller added the following information: RESERVE LOWERED.. The engine, transmission and exhaust is worth what the new reserve is set at. Please Note... For your convenience.. The restoration shop has restored many vehicles and can finish this car for you. This car can be finished at $38.00 a hour plus materials and part's if desired. For any of the remaining restoration work, You pay as we go.. We can restore it at any level desired. You decide. Either way, the car must be paid for in full at the end of auction. Thank you.
