The REAL DEAL - a numbers-matching, mostly original car, just out of 20 years in storage. "Numbers-matching" means the VIN on the engine & trans matches the VIN on the car. Engine is all original EXCEPT the carb (including alternator & distributor). Still running the original Transistorized Ignition. Original M21 4-spd. Original 3.70-geared posi rear end. Original radiator & fan shroud. Original exhaust (excluding mufflers). Comes with OEM locking fuel cap, as well as original cap. RUNS and DRIVES well. Oakland / East Bay Area car since new. Three owners from new. Original issue black & yellow CA license plates (have both plates). Laguna Blue out, black vinyl in, black soft top (original hard top as well). Totally rust-free & straight chassis. All wheelwells cut for tire clearance, moderate damage to left front corner, minor damage to right front corner (headlights still function). Driver's door is from a '63. Left front corner of hardtop does not fit well; possibly damaged or stored improperly. NO POWER STEERING OR POWER BRAKE OPTIONS. This was a hubcap car, no knock-offs. No front bumpers, later Rally wheels, Hurst shifter, Lakewood scattershield, wrong valve covers, wrong master cyl. What you see is what you get. Working original AM-FM radio w/ power antenna. Teak steering wheel. Original Soft-Ray glass. Intact tire tub with original spare, jack, and lug wrench. Nice original interior. Odometer says 48,660 (speedo works, but odo doesn't, common on mid-year Vettes). Second owner purchased the car in 1976 from first owner. Has been on non-op status since 1992.
