Here may be one of the best 1988 AMC EAGLES out there. Only 55168 gently driven miles by a elderly none smoking gentleman. The original shift on the fly 4x4. This is still one of the most sought after 4x4 .The paint and chrome is in very very good condition. Body has some light scratches and paint chips as is normal for a 25 year old car. This car drives smooth and straight . The back seat may never have been used . Ash trays look new.. The headliner has a couple of small areas to the left of drive and the right of passenger. that are loose. When you close the door on this car it sounds solid like new not tinny. The driver seat as a slight tear or crack on it..Back hatchback works excellent.. Spare tire area is beautiful, no rust. Engine compartment is excellent. This engine compartment was rust proofed so you may think it is dirty but it is rustproofing. The wire wheels have 2 originals on the front but the rears are from a Cadillac, I do not know what happened to them. Tires are about 80%. Enterior no cracks in plastic. All speaker grills are not cracked, carpeting excellent. Roof rack is in excellent condition ready for skis,toboggans , kayak, paddle board or what ever you want to put there. Look at the photos of the car sticker and the other paper. The gentleman that owned this wrote down every oil change he did on it until the car was put in storage .Look at pictures for a better idea of how beautiful this car is.
