1961 Corvair Lakewood Wagon This rare wagon lived its entire life in dry Amarillo, Texas. Last plated in 1967. The previous owner than removed the entire drive train and passed away soon after. The car sat until 2011 when I brought it home as the property was sold and it had to be moved or crushed. The entire body is rust free. The floor pans will need replacing. Doors, rockers, hood, rear gate, quarters, fenders are rock solid rust free metal. The interior needs to be redone. Needs rear glass, both right door glass and windshield. All the parts are present as you can see in the pics. This is a 4 speed transmission car. The original owner rebuilt the engine but that was long ago. its been in dry storage ever since. All stainless trim is present. You will not find a nicer Lakewood builder with stronger sheet metal. The floor pans, interior kit and door panels all available at Clark Corvair out east.
