This is a 1960 Cadillac i recently purchased from an elderly man. He was in bad health and sold me the car just recently, as you can tell it has been sitting outside for a long time. It is currently sitting inside of my shop right now. The weekend before i bought it, it was vandalized and the 3 of the side glass windows were broken out. The front and back glass are in great shape. The motor turns over by hand. I have not tried anything to get it running. He said it was running when parked, but that has been a long time, the inspection sticker is 84 i believe.... The the driver door was also dented at that time. The interior is probably the best part about this car. It is in great shape, the seats could use a good cleaning, but they aren't cracked or torn at all. The dash and gauges are all in great shape with no tears that i can notice either. There is a lot of rust in the rocker panels and lower fenders that will need attention for sure. The rear fenders are the worst part. But floors and trunk seem solid. The moulding on the car is in pretty good shape. The bumpers are solid, a little pitting, not show quality, but they would be great as just a driver vehicle. The car is complete though. The only thing it is missing is the cadillac v on the trunk lid. This would be a great car to restore. All of the expensive parts are there and in great shape. My intentions were to just get the car running and drive it like it is. The old man i bought it from could not find where he had left the keys, since it had been 20 plus years since it had moved, i wasn't to worried about the keys since i knew it wouldn't start anyways. You can buy a new set of keys on eBay for about $80 or have a locksmith just come out and key it to the locks now. I just dont have the time and i have another project i need to finish.
