cOOL OLD TRUCK STARTS EVERY TIME, HAD NEW TIRES LAST YEAR UNDER 5000 MILES N THEM, MATCHING ORIGINAL hUB CAPS ALL AROUND, NEW BRAKED IN THE REAR AND FRONT, NEW TRUNION BUSSINGS NEW SHOCKS,, NEW PARTS WERE PUT ON LAST YEAR, TRUCK HAS PRETTY MUCH JUST SIT HERE ON THE FARM SINCE I GOT MY NEW TRuck Now for the bad,, the truck has a valve seal on the number 8 piston that needs to be replaced it keeps fowling plugs, the seat cover is riped on it and is allowing the original to start to wear. small rust on rear fender well replacement seem.AC works but leacks freeon, i think its the valve on the condensor tank all gears work all lights work as they should truck drives very straight no engine noise tuned up the 302 is pretty peppy, this truck has not been abused or whacked on,, the previous owner did a desmog on it the correct way to it now gets about 18mpg... I am making no warrenty on this vehical, i will allow you to come test drive it on my property as the tags are expired. I am also willing to do some trading if you have a flat bed trailer or.223 or .308 or 7.62x39 stuff email me with questions, this is going to be a 3 day auction i think the truck is well worth $1300 but it will sell far below that On Dec-26-12 at 20:23:45 PST, seller added the following information: this truck needs new valve seals and probably a valve job, there are no knocks in the engine it just smokes badly out the PVC tube so we routed it out under the engine to keep the aircleaner from getting sopped up with oil. Although the truck starts and runs, it will need some work to make it a reliable vehicle. i think its just the valve seals, probably a timing chain and valve job would breath new life into this truck. it ran very good and was my main transportation untill i purchaced a new truck. the tires are like new this truck isnt junk it just needs a little work done on the valve train. you will need a trailer to take it home, it will drive up on a trailer this is a totaly factory truck except for the radio and desmog.
