Re-listed NO RESERVE!!! Mechanic's Special. This is a nice 2001 Chevy Blazer that starts and runs well, but has an engine overheating issue. The vehicle is not drivable, but may be driven onto a trailer. As far as the heating issue, the vehicle will overheat after driven for a short distance. The cooling system has been pressure checked and there is evidence of leaking around the intake manifold. There are no external coolant leaks and it appears that the coolant is being lost through the exhaust system. Therefore it most likely that the heads will have to pulled. There is no coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant. Other know issues are a gas gauge that is erratic below 1/4 tank level, but works good with more than 1/4 tank. Now the good news; We are the second owner on this vehicle and have always cared for it well. It has new tires and shock absorbers. The vehicle has 162,351 miles and has never been crashed. The body is straight and clean without rust. The interior is clean. This is a non-smoking car. AC and power windows work well. The vehicle has a towing package, and roof rack. This is a chance to get a nice vehicle. Once overheating issue is resolved, this vehicle well give many more miles of service. Vehicle is being sold as is, where is, with all faults.
