I bought this truck from the City of Belmont, California in August of 2010 for my daughter. She is now off on her own and I have no use for it. I am the second owner. I have the records from their maintenance department with the original sticker and for every service interval . Yesterday I put 2 new tires on the front for the new buyer and the back tires will need replacing probably over the next year. They are fine but I am a big believe in tire safety. The truck is clean and has a bed liner mat. Few if any dents or dings and scratches are typical in the bed from use. The other few scratches are shown in the photos. The interior has cloth seats with no rips or tears whatsoever. I bought this because the Ranger has a very dependable motor and the maintenance history with documentation depict it was well taken care of by the city mechanics. HOWEVER with all the assurances of a dependable and well maintained vehicle, about 3 months ago the automatic transmission lost the reverse gear. I parked it and decided to use it for errands around our ranch. I looked into rebuilt transmissions and pulled units with warranties and discovered it is about $500-$800 for a replacement. If you are handy you can save a lot in labor ...sadly I am not. The Kelly Blue Book Value with the low mileage is around $4500 depending on your local pricing.
