This is my friends 1956 Imperial. I have known him and the car since the 90s and owned a 56 Imperial myself. There were 2094 two door hard top Imperials made in 56. All came with power brakes, steering and seat and this Imperial has optional power windows. Car runs and driver like a top of the line car should. Motor sounds good, transmission shifts smoothly, everything works as it should. My friend is a retired paint and body guy so 20 some years ago when he got this car with a rebuilt Hemi. He did his best to make the body laser straight to show off his craft as a body man. No bondo and news paper metal only. He also made custom skirts for it. This car is a diver and a nice older restoration. Body nice, paint is good, Chrome is fiar to good, interior is good,.power train it strong. Sad to say he's only putting 200 miles on it a year so it's time to go. Dosent have problems from sitting like bad gas or brakes. But could use a valve cover gasket. Also has a new water pump. The rear 1/4 panel is 98% stock, save for the bracket and wingnut set up for the skirt.
