Merry Christmas!!! Up for auction is a 1968 Corvette Convertible project that was originally equipped with a 427 390hp engine and 4 speed Muncie Transmission. The original engine and transmission are no longer with the car. This project was recently purchased from a well known body shop in the Atlanta area and has new fenders and bonding strips installed to repair the old flared wheel openings. ($2324.23 receipts included for this repair not including labor). No rust or damage to the suspension, frame, and birdcage. (Frame in original not painted condition). Over 50 hours in labor time installing body panels and inner fenders. (Cost $2500). Parts included: Headlight assemblies, Convertible Top Frame (Previous owner paid $1000), L88 aftermarket hood (Paid $700 Eliminates wiper door), Vector style wheels and tires, Decklid, Windshield chrome, Interior windshield moldings, storage compartment tray, dash bezel, taillight assemblies, top dash pad, tag bezel, and a few more extras. Missing a lot of interior pieces. The car was recently primered and has block sanding guides on surface. Sand and Paint! Easy Project! Hood, Decklid and Convertible Top Frame installed.
