1988 Ford Thunderbird SPORT- Family Owned, 5.0-liter V-8, Clean, No Rust! 127,726 Orginal Miles!I love this car, but it has to go! I recently purchased another car, so it's time to move this one on. My uncle bought this car new back in 1988 and gave it to me about 1 1/2 years ago. He and I have always had it garaged. It has never spent the night outdoors! My uncle always had it serviced at a local Ford dealership and since I've had it, I've done my own maintenance. I just replaced the thermostat, front calipers and brake pads, y-pipe, and back break shoes. I also just gave it a oil change and tune up. The tires are a little over a year old and have good thread. It has absolutely no rust, dings, or scratches. This is a 9th generation Thunderbird and this was the last year for the body style. I get lots compliments from people when I drive it! All miles are orginal and all highway. My uncle drove it to work on and off for a number of years. He works 80 miles round trip from here. The only area of concern is the primer is starting to show on the front bumper. The paint is not pealing, the primer is starting to wear through. The spring in the shifter release button was broken so we just removed it. It goes into all gears just fine. It will also need one middle break light bulb. The interior is clean. The are a couple of small grease spots. One on side of driver side seat on console side and the other at the bottom of back seat passenger side. There is one small hole on the back seat. Looks like a cigarette burn hole. There is also one small blemish in the headliner. Only about a size of a dime. The left side of the driver seat is stretched out not broken. These are all very very minor, want to disclose all information.Please email me with any questions. Buyer is responsible to pickup/transport of car.
