Vehicle Detail

Hello you are looking at the best truck I have ever owned, I am the second owner I bought it with around 15,000 miles on it and have changed the oil, lubed it, fixed everything that has ever went wrong with it faithfully until recently. FIRST THE GOOD STUFF,PLEASE NOTICE THIS IS NOT THE LARAMIE PACKAGE AS LISTED IN TRIM BUT IT IS THE LONE STAR EDITION WITH LEATHER INTERIOR, it has pretty good paint with some rock chips and small scratches and very small ding or two as you would expect from a truck with over 200,000 miles but in my opinion still looks sharp for its age and i still get alot of compliments on the truck, the day i bought it i took it to the truck shop and put $1000 worth of chrome on it which all still looks pretty nice, i also installed a new stainless steel tailgate at an extra cost of $500,at 173,000 miles I put all new 50 hp upgraded injectors in it because one of the old injectors failed , at around 179,000 miles I had the front end completely rebuilt including bearings, ball joints , shimmy shock, stabilizer bushing and anything else that they found loose at the time, fresh front end align afterwards and it drives like a dream (for a high milage truck) with no odd front tire wear or major vibrations,at around 191,000 I replaced all brake rotors, pads and even replaced the emergency brake pads( which I've never adjusted to work so the new emergency brake pads have never engaged, at around 197,000 I put a new heavy duty 750 hp rated clutch , pressure plate and throw out bearing, about 8 months ago at around 198,000 miles I put a brand new leather interior in it and with the exception of a little discoloration in the drivers seat ( which I think can just be cleaned up) the interior still looks almost brand new with no cuts , holes or wear spots of any kind except a couple of light scratches on the passages seat that I think may have happened when someone set down with something metal in their pocket, it also has had both tail lights and headlights replaced in the last 25,000 miles to take care of some fading problems in the lenses! A new carrier bearing about 15,000 miles ago, the truck still holds about 50 lbs of oil pressure going down the road, it runs strong and gets around 18-19 miles per gallon with the new higher horsepower injectors but it used to get 22-23 with the old injectors which I'm told can be regained if a programmer is installed but this truck has never been power chipped.THIS TRUCK HAS NEVER BEEN ON DIRT ROADS AND DOES NOT RATTLE ANYWHERE except for a couple of the chrome simulators which have broken clips on them, I have replaced them once but when the tire shops pull them off if they aren't careful they end up breaking a clip or two and before long the hubcap is rattling but it's not a mechanical issue! Also BOTH BATTERIES ARE LESS THAN SIX MONTHS OLD WITH 3 yr warranty,NOW FOR THE BAD STUFF THAT I KNOW ABOUT, the passenger side fender is busted where I jackknifed a small trailer into it also it damaged the bedside just below the tail lights, the damage can be seen in the pics, also even though the clutch system is almost new and the truck shifts smoothly like it should the new throw out bearing is much louder than the old one, itook it back to the shop that put the clutch in and they said that it was common to have louder noise because it was a heavy duty clutch, I'm not sure that is the case but it shifts fine and hasn't caused any problems since installed so I've never done anything else with it, NOW FOR THE PROBLEM WITH THE ENGINE!! First I drive this truck everyday so the mileage will tick up after this listing, but even though I drive it everyday and still pull my boat camper or trailer with it whenever I want it DOES HAVE A BLOW BY ISSUE, it started about 40,000 miles ago after the injector tore up, according to the mechanic the engine was perfect until the injector on the fifth cylinder stuck open and damaged it, this according to them is the cause of the blow by because it washed the lubricant off of the cylinder wall and scored it. I had a hose connected to the blow by tube and ran to the back of the truck and placed into the drivers side dually fender into a oil reservoir which I drain periodically , this keeps oil from blowing under the truck, at first almost no oil went into it but the more miles I put on it the worse it has gotten, I keep the oil checked EVERYtime I drive it so to this point it has worked out ok for me, HOWEVER THE MOTOR WILL NEED TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED AT SOME POINT IN THE NEAR FUTURE because its getting worse, I don't know really how to judge its oil consumption at this point because it really depends on how much pulling I do with it as pulling loads with it causes oil consumption increase, the truck does smoke some, it's mostly just black diesel smoke if you get on it hard but I have noticed of late that I see some white smoke on occasion if I take off after its been at an idle for awhile but then clears up quickly thereafter. THE CARFAX SHOULD SHOW A COUPLE OF FENDER BENDERS, well actually dually fender benders because i broke the drivers side fender on a gate post once and on another occasion the truck rolled across the bank parking lot and tore the passenger side fender off on a sign but it has never had any frame or front end damage of any kind in fact I BELIEVE THIS TRUCK TO BE MECHANICALLY SOUND IN EVERY AREA EXCEPT THE BLOW BY PROBLEM , having said that the REASON IM SELLING IS REALLY PRETTY STRAIGHT FORWARD , I'VE DECIDED NOT TO SPEND THE MONEY ON THE MOTOR BUT INSTEAD BUY A NEW ONE WITH A WARRANTY! I HOPE. I DON'T REGRET IT AS THIS 5.9 common rail cummins in my opinion is the best truck dodge has made so far, the combo of the 6 speed tranny, the 410 gear ratio and the 5.9 pulls great performs well stock and gets better fuel mileage than any diesel heavy duty truck on the market with a stock chip THEY ARE THE MOST POPULAR CUMMINS MOTOR FOR GOOD REASON, I KNOW THIS ad is long but I have included every single thing I know about the truck so you can make your decision, I have described all known problems and it is being sold as is where is with no warranty, please TAKE IN CONSIDERATION if any of these issues is a problem for you because I cannot afford the time to relist it as I'm in the process of buying the new truck even as I'm posting this auction and I need to use the cash from this truck as a down payment on another so there will be a $500 non refundable deposit within 48 hrs of auction close. PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS NOW NOT AFTER YOU WIN THE AUCTION I HAVE GREAT FEEDBACK BECAUSE IM TRUTHFUL TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITY, sorry the pics are a little grainy I took them with my iPad and it is cloudy and snowing here so not much light but I think they are clear enough to see that the truck is shiny and straight with no major dents anywhere except the rear fender damage, tool box not included, I HAVE SET THE RESERVE MUCH LOWER THAN THE TRUCK BOOKS FOR AT ABOUT WHAT THE TRUCK WOULD PART OUT FOR BECAUSE I HAVE TO MOVE IT SO IT IS POSSIBLE TO PICK THIS TRUCK UP FOR A GREAT DEAL!!!! THANK YOU FOR LOOKING and GOOD LUCK BIDDING
