Vehicle Detail
EXTERIOR The color is yellow with a straight body and driver quality paint showing the normal nicks here and there. The chrome is nice. The rear bumpers are presentable and the front still looks great. As you can see the car has a really good looking big block hood. The weather stripping on the doors was replaced approximately 10 years ago. Additionally the car has two tops, it comes with the stock T tops and an older Plexiglas one-piece top as well. You will notice the slotted aluminum Corvette wheels on the car. Originally available with stock Corvettes a limited basis in 1973; they're put on the car by a former owner. When polished they look great! Moreover no one has taken Jack to the bottom of the spare tire carrier so it is not cracked up like many of them. INTERIOR The interior has been upgraded. The carpet, center console, door panels, and leather look great. The driver seat has a small tear and the passenger side dash perforation has a small crack. Neither is very noticeable but both are shown in photographs. Additionally all gauges are functioning except for the clock. The fiber optics will need attention possibly just new plastic lenses. The stereo is a Sony CD player; however it was disconnected when I had a shop cleanup the wiring in the dash. MECHANICS The car has a GM 350 c.i. crate motor which produces significant horsepower it has approximately 9000 miles on it with HEI ignition. New accessories installed at that time include a rebuilt power steering pump. Additionally the transmission and differential have been rebuilt as well. The car also has rebuilt front and rear suspensions. In the front, A-arm bushings and ball joints have been replaced. In the rear, U-joints, strut rods, rear spring, and the wheel bearings have been replaced. The Goodyear tires have plenty of meat on them. You will notice that the car has been updated with aluminized exhaust moreover the fuel system had been gone through with a replacement gas tank. The AC is installed and functioning with a newer GM condenser. The headlights are fully functioning along with the vacuum wiper door. However the vacuum however the wiper motor will need replaced. The previous owner also updated with newer color-coded vacuum hoses. FURTHER INFORMATION Overall she's a great looking car and will make a proud owner of the high bidder. I have no doubt that whoever gets her will be very happy if they're looking for a driver Corvette Stingray that has a significant amount of work done to it. For additional disclosure, the aluminized exhaust has an annoying rattle and needs to be adjusted. I just noticed that the right front break caliper is leaking.
