Vehicle Detail
1965 Ford Mustang hardtop. 200 6 cylinder, C-4 automatic. This car was owned by a local Mustang Club member who is a judge at local shows. Built to be a driver, not a show car. Extensive work has been done to this car over the last couple of years. I have a pile of receipts for the work done. Tranny rebuilt within the last year. Interior completely redone. The prior owner was driving the car home from his mechanic after having a rebuilt engine installed and had a wreck. So the engine has maybe 10 miles on it. I am not a body/paint guy, so I cannot tell you what all will be required to get this car back on the road. Let the pictures tell you, or ask me any questions. I repeat, I am not a body/paint guy, so please do not ask me if this or that needs replaced or repaired. I will say that the shock towers, frame rails and door frame do not look like they are damaged. Also, I hooked a battery up to this car and was able to drive it onto a trailer. That being said. NO, you cannot drive this home. DO NOT ASSUME that I will help you get this running, that I have an extra battery just laying around, that I have hours to spend helping you or waiting for you to get this car running or that you will be able to get this car running easily. Bring a tow dolly or trailer and a winch or 2 or 3 buddies to help you push this car on the trailer. This car is being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS sitting on the ground. Originally Springtime Yellow, the car has been painted red. Paint job is decent, driver quality, but is not going to win any awards. Interior has had recent restoration, new carpet, headliner and upholstery. Tires look fairly new. I have a clear Texas title for this car. NOT a salvage title. DO NOT assume anything about this car. If you have questions, ask. I am not responsible for your confusion or misunderstanding. I require a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit within 48 hours. Remainder due within 7 days. If once you see the car you don't want it, you do not have to pay the remainder, but the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. Door tag data: Body - 65a Color - 8 Trim - 26 Date - 19T DSO - 21 Axle - 2 Trans - 6 I am talking to a couple of local people who are interested in the car. No money in hand just yet, but for this reason, I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time for any or no reason at all.
