I am selling this vehicle for my father, who has treated this car like a museum piece its whole life. It has 85,XXX miles, almost all of which were accumulated in highway travel. The car's appearance reflects its pampered, always-garaged life in Florida and sunny Savannah, GA. The interior has never been smoked in and shows only light wear. The exterior paint is glossy and smooth, with only a few very small blemishes consonant with age. Included in these very slight imperfections are a number of scratches on the underside of the front air dam. These are visible only by stooping over or lying underneath the car. All maintenance has been performed scrupulously at the required intervals and the engine pulls strong and hard. The top is in excellent, near-original condition and operates perfectly. All features work as they should---AC, cruise control, heated seats---with the exception of the sensor for the auto-on lights. The entire instrument panel has been replaced due to a faulty gas gauge, and all gauges now work like new. In short, it's a near-perfect grand tourer---reflecting brilliantly the prized GT qualities of grace, space, and pace---that can be had on an incredible budget. Jaguars are not world-renowned for their reliability, but this XK has been babied by my father and it is certainly amongst the best non-collector's examples that are available today.
