1963 Porsche 356B Coupe with numbers-matching engine, one owner since new. Bought new in Marin Country California in 1963 and kept there until the last two weeks. The original owner was a doctor, and the car was recently purchased from his elderly widow and his adult son. Factory-original metal with numbers-matching doors, hood and decklid. Original floors needs some rust repair (see photos), but the wheel-wells and upper structures of the car are excellent, with all the factory spot welds visible and untouched. Serviced and in good running and driving condition. Just completed over $3000 worth of mechanical work to this car: pulled the fuel tank and had it cleaned and relined, replaced several control arm bushings and one ball joint, and did a complete brake job, among other things. Some issues that will need attention in the long-term: the tack is not working; there is some minor bubbling on some spots; headliner has some tears; small 50 cent piece sized indentation in right fender otherwise looks great from ten feet away. You can comfortably drive it the way it is or restore it to its original condition over the long haul. Original color was ivory which is a beautiful cream color. Excellent old driver or candidate for 100-pt restoration. Clear title and Porsche Certifificate of Authenticity included in the sale.
