Vehicle Detail

1974 Volkswagen VW BUG Beetle Take a look at this really nice 1974 Volkswagen Beetle. It is in very good condition despite its age and is has been partially restored. The engine was rebuilt less than 500 miles ago and she runs very strong. When I test drive her she has alot of pep, but I find that i do need to keep my foot on the gas a little at idle so I think she needs a carb adjustment. The interior is in fair condition as you can see in the video. The is from an estate and the previous owner is the guy that was restoring her. He had her painted within the last few years and the paint has plenty of luster but there is some orange peel in the paint so I would rate the paint good but the quality is a 6 out of 10. The previous owner also had a fascination with flames as you can see in the video. There are flame stickers all around the car on the body, along with other stickers on the back bumper. All windows are crack free and they are tinted really dark except for the windshield. Blinkers work but flasher module acts up at times, a $10 fix to get a new module. Rear passenger light has a crack as you can see in the pictures. Tail lights have been painted with a design as well as the blinkers. She is missing the bumpers and I assume that the way the previous owner liked the look. Wipers work well but cannot speak to the condition of the blades. There are a few dings on the roof and the molding around the rear window is cracked. The interior is in fair overall condition as can be seen in the video. The drivers seat adjustments feels a little out of whack as though something is bent on the seat frame. The headliner does have a hole behind and above the driver. This car is in overall good condition and would not take too much work to be fully restored. Whether you are looking for a beetle as a daily driver or just one to complet the restoration, this one has got to make your shortlist. The car is a Colorado vehicle and the rust on the vehicle is very minimal. We are starting this auction at $200 with no reserve and the high bidder is going to own this car as there is no reserve. However, if you prefer to have her shipped to you we work with several Autom Transport companies and we can usually get you a reasonable quote.
