Vehicle Detail

I Have a ground up restored 1970 Nova for sale. Here is the history. A patient of mine's father died and left her with the task of cleaning up his estate. He would drive a car until he was tired of it and put it a storage shed. This NOVA was parked in 1984 with 88 thousand actual miles. I purchased the car in its original condition, having never been touched, other than to drive and maintain. The car was straight with rust in the lower rear quarters and behind the front fenders. There was also some weakening of the front floor pans. These repairs were completed with NEW SHEET METAL. There is not filler on this car. The original motor had blow by and was replaced with a BRAND NEW GM 350. The transmission was leaking and was replaced with a REBUILT MASSEY 350 TURBO TRANSMISSION. The exhaust was upgraded to BRAND NEW DUAL FLOWMASTER MUFFLERS. After sitting for 27 years the brakes were weak to say the least and were replaced with BRAND NEW BRAKES INCLUDING UPDATED DISCS, MASTER CYLINDER, VACUM BOOSTER, and WHEEL CYLINDERS. The interior had been the home of kansas critters and was updated with BRAND NEW HOUNDSTOOTH SEATS, CARPET, and DASH PAD, HEADLINER, FRONT DOOR PANELS, AC and HEATER CONTROLS with NEW CABLES and HEATER CORE and BLOWER MOTOR. The underside has been completely RHINO LINED for protection and sound deadening. The front and rear are adorned with NEW SHOCKS, COIL SPRINGS, LEAF SPRINGS, and BODY MOUNTS. The old tires were replaced with NEW TIRES ALL THE WAY AROUND. The car is like a new 1970 nova. The paint was sprayed by a fellow who does SEMA show cars. It is TORRID RED with FLAT BLACK STRIPES. Base coat clear coat 3 gallons worth. The car goes stops and looks better than a new 1970 NOVA. The only part of the project not totally complete is the AC. Is is all there, freely moving compressor all the lines and hoses, but I have not made it fully functional yet. New owner can rework what is there or go vintage air. This was my delema and why it is not done. Thousands have been spent on this car to make it a MODERN CLASSIC EVERYDAY DRIVABLE CAR. The motor has HOOKER HEADERS, EDELBROCK 750 ELECTRIC CHOKE and an UPDATED COIL. This combo gives the motor some go without sacrificing reliability. I have driven the car 800 miles since completion to iron out any bugs. There are none. I will answer any questions quickly and accurately. This is a serious auction for serious buyers. I have sold six cars on ebay and many more restored cars before ebay. I make the car buying experience honest and dependable. 500 dollar deposit within 48 hours from the winning bidder. The rest when the car leaves. The car is to be picked up in 2 weeks. MERRY CHRISTMAS and GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS SAFE RETURN!!!!!On Dec-11-12 at 10:00:23 PST, seller added the following information: To answer a few questions so everyone can benefit: The car has a radio delete plate but does have a hidden CD player with all the inputs in the glove box with a remote. The speakers are under the rear deck panel as it has 6x9 openings intergrated into it. Wiper and washer pumps are new. The dome light does work as does the fuel guage which has a new sending unit in the new gas tank. The headliner is black and new along with the sail panels. Yes you can fly in and drive the car home where ever you may live. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BIDS and someone is going to have a great CHRISTMAS GIFT.
