We are pleased to offer this very clean rust free 1976 International Scout 11. This is a 2 owner California car, we have the original window sticker and build sheet + all California registration cards to verify 2 owners. We also have a ton of reciepts, original owners manuals. The engine is the 304 with a 4-speed 1.14 full syncro transmission. The axle shows to be 3.54 ASM, 19 gallon optional steel fuel tank, factory air conditioning, guwr 6200, front 3200, rear 3100 if that makes sense. The Scout has a build date of May 6th 1976. The delivering dealer was Fred Boerner of Huntington Park CA. The exterior has been repainted and looks good, the color seems slightly more yellow than original, whether thats because of fading over the years i don't know, but the car looks great both inside and out. The cloth interior is in great shape as is the dash and headliner. The instruments will need some work, The speedo and odo work fine. The mileage is showing 37370 + , the gas gauge every now and again is faulty so are the other gauges. The car drives good, the engine is strong with some smoke on start up but quickly goes away, maybe the car needs driving as it been in storage for a while, it has also passed California smog test. The transmission is smooth with no problems, the clutch is good as are the brakes. The 4-wheel drive system also works correctly. The steering wanders a bit but once you get the hang of it its ok, this Scout has the original A/C but its not working. The tires are almost new. The interior floor has been protected with a spray on liner. The travel top is the original and is in great shape. This is a great driving and looking car.
