This auction is for a restoration project car- a 1979 Fiat Spider convertible. When we bought the car, it had been sitting in a garage for 10 years, not being driven. When we got it, it did not run. We had to flush out the gas tank, and install a new electric fuel pump. We also installed a new ignition pack. We have done some restoration on it; getting it to run, and repairs on the brake system We had to replace nearly all the steel brake lines, as well as the rubber hoses. One rear wheel caliper still needs to be rebuilt. Also, most of the underside of the car has been scraped, to remove loose undercoating, and painted.. Other work that will need to be done includes: rust repair, carb. rebuild, exhaust system replaced, drivers seat repaired The driver's floor area has rust damage, but it can be repaired We are selling the car because we have too many projects, so this one has to go. Car runs and can be moved under its own power. It is not driveable at this time, and will need to be trailered or towed. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING.
