Vehicle Detail

This is a 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T. We are putting this car up for sale because we are slowly realizing that we will not have the time or money to finish this car. My father’s 1970 Cuda is scheduled for restoration before this car so we are just looking for it to go to a good home so it will receive the attention it deserves. We have owned the car since 1989 when we bought it at local show. It has stayed in the exact condition you see it now for 23+ years. It is a very well optioned car. It is a driven car and has seen occasional street use through the summer months. It doesn’t need a whole lot to be considered a daily driver but we would rather see the car restored to the caliber it deserves. The odometer showed 99,154 miles when we purchased it and it now shows just a bit over 100,000 miles. The only things the car is really missing are the original carb, kickdown linkage, hubcaps, and the numbers matching engine. The original motor spun a main bearing at some point earlier in its life. We traced the engine down to where it met its ultimate demise, a scrap yard. Between the fender wells now resides a 1973 440. This engine sports the correct HP camshaft, 4bbl intake manifold, and 440 HP exhaust manifolds. We have several restoration parts that we can negotiate after the sale of the vehicle. One of these parts being a correct 1969 440 HP motor. We also have a grill, taillight panel, and nice decklid. The car was assembled April, 9th 1969 at the St Louis plant. It carries the S special order signifying that it is in fact a real R/T car. It also has the L engine code showing it is a 440 4bbl car. On to the fender tag codes. E86=440 4bbl D32=HD auto trans D53=3.23 axle ratio D91=Sure Grip Differential T83=F70 14” Redline Tires W18=Mag Wheel Covers PX6=Black Bucket Seats V01=Monotone Paint in B5 blue V1X= Black Vinyl Top V8X=Rear R/T Stripe 53=26” Radiator A62=Rallye Dash N85=Tic Toc Tac B41=Front Disk Brakes, 4 Piston Calipers B51=Power Brakes J41=Pedal Dress up N96=Ramcharger Hood R11=Am Roller Style Radio R31=Rear Speaker S15=Hemi Suspension and Sway Bar S25=Firm Ride Shocks S77=Power Steering S79=Lower ½ Horn Ring I have highlighted some of the noteworthy options the car has. The Ramcharger hood setup is all there other than the cable from the control to the hood being cut at some point in time. If you would like to get more specific about the options or the broadcast sheet I can email PDF files of the break down and the original broadcast sheet. It was found under the rear seat and is in exceptionally great condition. The interior and all its trim are in good shape. The dash is all there and the tach functions. The clock works if the time adjustment knob is moved. The dash pad is in perfect shape and will not need restored. I have the center buddy fold down seat but it was not pictured. The front seats have older new legendary covers installed. The rear seat is original and will need recovered as well as the carpet replaced. Body wise the car is very solid in all of the critical areas. The only places that have had any repair were a slight collision repair on the right front on the front of the door and rear of the fender. There was no structural damage in this incident. The original paint on the car discolored from panel to panel so the car was repainted. It has typical lower ¼ panel rust repairs but can be easily fixed with patch panels. The trunk extensions are still there. The rust under the rear glass looks much worse in pictures than it actually is from the shadow of the trim. The trunk floor is in great shape. The driver’s side floor pan has one hole that is right where you rest your heal when your food is on the accelerator pedal. I pictured this area. There is no warranty with this vehicle and none implied. There will be a $500.00 deposit via Paypal within 48 hours of the auction end. If the deposit is not paid by that time the car will be reposted. The car will be for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. You are more than welcome to inspect the vehicle before purchase if arrangements can be made. I have tried to take the pictures of all the areas mopar guys know where to look. If there is anywhere else you need to see on the vehicle I will email you photos of the requested areas. This is a car my family would like to keep up with after it is sold weather it is sold again or it is restored the way it deserves to be. We can work out delivery within a reasonable range. I am setting up a photobucket album with more pictures of the underbody and other areas. Call us at either 765-527-7614 or 765-808-1910 Or email at zapritchett@gmail.com On Dec-04-12 at 05:41:29 PST, seller added the following information: This is the link to the photobucket album that has more pictures of the underbody and other areas. If you'd like a PDF file of the broadcast sheet email me at the address in the add and I will send it your way. http://s1300.beta.photobucket.com/user/tppritchett/library/?#/user/tppritchett/library/?http%3A//s1300.beta.photobucket.com/user/tppritchett/library/?&_suid=135462807563203692360595831406
