1988 BMW 535IS, what a great running car, I have been driving this for 100 plus miles a day since August of last year 2011, runs like a sewing machine. Runs strong, drives smooth, shifts great! Has 4 wheel disc brakes, Recaro style power all way seates, heated rear window, power windows, complete trunk took kit, cool aftermarket rims, just changed oil. Mile meter needs fixed (speedo works), radio is all there but does not play. You can get in this car and drive it home anywhere! This car runs and drives way better than lots of the cars that roll off the assembly lines today. At 90 plus it is smooth! Check out what people and forums say about this classic! Edmons, Kelly Blue Book, Car & Driver all give it a 9+. They do not make them like this and at 200k the motor still has same compression as new and will go triple that mileage. The 1988 was the last year of the body style. If this car sold for under $2000 it has at minimum 3xs that in parts (which by the way would be a shame to part it out!).
