Vehicle Detail

Came across this car in a field. Owner bought it to use the engine and trans for another project but lost interest. I purchased it to save it from a painful death at the hands of some shotgun target practicing farm kids! I just could not let such a complete original V-8 car with the Pony interior, dash, center console, A/C car get destroyed. My thought was SOMEONE will take the time to make this one nice ride!! This is a 65 Ford Mustang that is rusted out pretty good but with all the aftermarket sheet metal available for these cars it is a good project. Manual Power Steering and Brakes. It is almost complete, ALL the trim except passenger side windshield chrome is there and in decent condition. Windows and doors all work. It has the original V-8 5-lug suspension, took a hit on the right rear(in pics), does not run, motor in it is missing the distributor. Research of VIN shows 1965, Dearborn Built, Hardtop, 289-2V car Research of Body tag shows Body-65B-Coupe w/Luxury interior, Color-5-Twilight Turquoise, Trim-67-Aqua/White Luxury, Build Date-10S-May 10th(LATE 65), Rear End-6-2:80 Standard, Trans-6-C4 Not sure what motor or trans is in it now, it is a Ford V-8 appears to be a replaced 302 as there is a tag on the 2bbl Carb that has a 1976 date on it. Was told by the kid I bought it form that it ran when they pulled it off the trailer to it's resting spot where I got it from. Pictures show all condition and represent the car best I can. Rims are 14", tires are beyond help, all lug nuts have been loosened, lubed and retorqued to ensure the rims/tires could easily be replaced to roll on a trailer. My small electric winch pulled it on the trailer as all rims/tires rolled freely. This would make someone a great project. I have a clean title in hand. This is a non-highway, no liability insurance title. That is a Kansas thing. Allows you to have a titled car that you do not have to register and insure while you are working on it. As soon as you get it complete you apply for a change to an on road title. This happens when you are done with the work when you register it. I have been on E-Bay for years, this is my first time selling so I have tried my best to describe this car best I could. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Possible to work out delivery with paid in full and an agreed upon price depending on location, within about 300-400 mile radius.I am retired so I have some time. Car is located right off I-70. Easy on/off access for shipping truck/trailer or tractor trailer shipping company. Car rolls but will need winch or come-a-long to pull it on trailer.
