Vehicle Detail

Porsche 914, 2.0 liter, with factory appearance group. A true vintage vehicle. All stock! While owning the car for 6 years, I have proudly maintained and preserved it's original factory condition. Factory condition is my standard; no modifications have been made! Rebuilt engine and transmission in 2011 by a factory certified Porsche mechanic (receipts available). I drive the car several times a week and put on about 4,000 miles a year (not driven when raining). The car has the original owner's manual with original buyer's maintenance record. (Factory radio is not in working condition.)On Nov-28-12 at 23:39:07 PST, seller added the following information: Please note: Engine number cannot be located. On Nov-30-12 at 08:15:10 PST, seller added the following information: I have had many questions regarding rust, paint, mechanics, and overall condition. * Rust- there is no visible rust on the car (under the carpet, battery tray, bonnet, under carriage, etc.) There are spots on the undercarriage where it looks like the owner prior to me had done some maintenance. * Paint- the car has re-painted about 7 years ago (I have owned the car for 6 years, and prior to purchasing, I researched it to make sure it is the original color by matching the numbers from the door). There are no dings, dents, or scratches. * Mechanics - windshield wiper only operates on low speed. Odometer has probably turned (I have no actual evidence); the new engine/trans/clutch has about 3,000 miles on them. * Condition- the car is "all stock" (except electronic distributor and windshield). The car has been "maintained" to "preserve" its original condition intending to mean that whenever something needed to be repaired factory standard had always been followed. This car is sharp, clean, driveable and in very good condition. It is not a "time capsule" and has not been "bubble wrapped" and stored waiting 40 years for someone . Owners of vintage cars (any car) know that maintenance will always needs to be addressed in order to preserve its condition.
