Selling my Contour SVT, kids are growing up and need more legroom in the backseat. I have enjoyed this vehicle over the last 4 years, converted it to 3.0 L block after the 2.5 liter had issues. Just put brand new Dunlop DZ101 215/50R16s they have less than 500 miles on them around town, no crazy driving :) This car has a few issues as any used car will the head lights are hazy, the power sunroof needs a gear (50$) motor works fine, has a dent on the roof, on the drivers wheel well and misc dings and scratches, it shines up nice though. The interior is in great shape with the SVT blue leather, the dash is showing signs of the classic contour curl up but could be remidied fairly easily. I had some electrical issues and replaced the alternator and re-routed the positive line and not had the same issues since, the battery is a little more than a year old, the rotors and pads need to be replaced, and the AC compressor is no good I put a shorter serpentine belt on to eliminate the compressor. The blower motor only works on high. The good is, brand new tires, a 3.0 liter conversion, and its a extremely fun car to drive. Would make a great SCCA or daily driver with a few weekends of tinkering, I wish I had the time but the family is my main priority. Would love for someone who appreciates a fun unique care to own it. Selling locally so I reserve the right to end the auction, will consider delivery however the minimum will be 2.00 a mile if I deliver it, if you want to make arrangements I am open to it. I would like a deposit of 10% of the final bid to reserve this vehicle. Once sold I expect pickup or delivery to be arranged within a week.
