This is a no reserve auction for a 2000 740 IL that needs some tlc, but can be driven as is. I will start with the good-engine and transmission are nice and smooth. Heat and AC work as they should. The paint shines nice. The rear tires are fairly new. The front tires are about half tread. The interior is in pretty good shape considering the mileage, no rips or tears but does show some wear. Now for the bad-check engine light is on. When scanned the code reads p1441, which is a leakage diagnostic pump-not sure what it means and did not look into it. The drivers door does not open from the inside-must be opened from the outside. The rear driver door window does not go down. Passenger rear door has rust on the bottom. I was going to replace the door but decided not to. If interested can give info on where to get it for around $100. Navigation/radio is inoperable. I have been driving it for the past week. I drove it 3 hrs round trip and I think it needs control arms, not 100%. I think rotors need to be turned also. When I stepped on brakes hard, I felt a vibration. That could also be due to the control arms. Look, it is not perfect but the engine runs transmission is smooth. It will not take much to drive straight down the road. All options not mentioned work as they should. It also come with thick folder full of service history. This was a company owned vehicle. It comes with 2 keys and books. Title in hand.
