Here we have a 1963 Chevy C-10 longbed pick-up. This truck was a frame off build done by Rex's Rods & Customs in Lakewood Ohio. We started with a rust free California truck which was purchased and moved to Virginia then made its way to Ohio where it is now. It wears its original beautifully patina'd paint. Although the body has surface rust due to the California sun burning the paint it is rust free. No rot or repairs done to the body ever. The body and bed were pulled and the chassis was cleaned, painted, and completely re-plumbed with new brake lines. We also installed a worry free, maintenance free, air-ride suspension set up. Full front and back and individual paddles for proper ride height adjustment. The body and bed were re-installed using Energy Suspension urethane body mounts. The engine is a '74 Police issue 350 backed by a Powerglide trans. It also has a new water pump, hoses, belts, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, wires, battery, battery cables, and fluids. The engine was repainted as was the engine compartment to match the interior. It has dual exhaust with aftermarket turbo mufflers. It has a soft rumble to it. The interior was repainted to match the factory color. The seat was re-upholstered in matching White on Palomino pleats. New carpet was installed to finish out the comfort. The interior looks better than what came from the factory. The bed retains the original wood but the hardware was replaced with new pieces.This truck is the same as the 1960-1966 body style This truck is a fresh build, it has virtually no miles on it since being finished.
