THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN KENTUCKY. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BIDDING. Description: You are bidding on one previously owned 2000 Ford Crown Victoria. This has been a Detective Package vehicle. This Crown Vic. was owned and turned in to us by the Kentucky State Police. This is now considered Kentucky State Government Surplus Property. They have asked us to sell it for them on EBAY. VIN: 1GCEK19VX5Z286172 General: This Crown Victoria is Green in color and has Tan cloth seats and carpeting throughout. There are only 2 floor mats and they are the front mats. They do match the car and carpet. This particular vehicle was assembled in CANADA. Remember, Ford no longer makes these Crown Victoria’s. So now is a chance to get a very nice one, even though it may be a little bit older than most of them that we have sold lately. There are only 126,364 miles on this car. It has the 4.6 Liter Gasoline V8 engine in it (and it is so smooth and quiet). The tires are P225/60R16. There is NO spare tire with this car. There is a tire jack that is in the trunk. The engine sounds good. There are no drips, misses or rattles. It seems to be smooth running and starts right up. The Transmission seems to shift well and seems to work ok. The Air conditioner does work and gets really cold, and the heater works properly as it blows out where it should and gets plenty hot. DRIVER SIDE: FENDER: There are 4-5 small scratches in the paint and 2-3 small dings or dents in the fender. A couple of scuff marks on the edge of fender too. DRIVER DOOR: 3-4 chips in the paint and 4-5 scratches in the paint. There are 2 bigger chips in the paint between the door glass and the windshield. Both are about ½” x 3/8” and are through the paint, down to metal. Also there is one about ‘pea’ size behind the window glass in the Black part. Also there are few small scratches around the key hole. REAR DOOR: Several small scratches in the paint and some scoff marks in the paint and on the door molding. REAR QUARTER: Several scuffs and scratches. Around the wheel well opening, there is some paint gone for approx. 3” on the edge. A chip of paint is missing just above the wheel well opening and also just below the fuel fill door. There is a long scratch between the fuel fill door and the taillight. It is about 18” long and the one in front of it is about 4” long. There is a very slight dent that runs this length as well. I could not get the camera to capture that slight of a dent. BACK END: TRUNK LID: Several scratches in the paint and a few chips in the paint. There is also a couple of small dents in the lid on the passenger side towards the front. There are 2 holes in the trunk lid where there used to be 2-way radio antennas mounted for the KSP Radios. Those holes have grommets in them. Rear Bumper: It has 3-4 very small chips in the paint. It is not torn, ripped, bent or dented, as far as I could tell. PASSENGER SIDE: REAR QUARTER: A couple of very small scratches and a couple of chips in the paint around the wheel well opening. REAR DOOR: There are a few very light scratches and only a couple of small chips in the paint. PASSENGER DOOR: 10-15 chips in the paint, mostly below the door molding and near the front of the door. But 2-3 are pretty much right in the middle of the door. These are approx. ¼” x ¼”. There are several scratches on the door and several scuff marks around and on the door molding. FENDER: A small ding and 5-6 small scratches and a small chip in the paint. FRONT: HOOD: There are about 15-20 chips in the paint. GRILL: Chrome is peeling off of it in several places. The Cowl (?) around the grill and back towards the hood, it has quite a few chips in the paint under the grill and 3-4 chips in the paint above it. The headlights are very clouded. BUMPER: It has a few chips in the paint and needs a really good scrubbing. The chrome beauty trim in the bumper has 5-6 or so spots peeling chrome. ROOF: It has a few scratches and a few chips in the paint. INTERIOR: Has Tilt Steering Wheel, Cruise Control, Power Door Locks, Power Windows and Power Remote (outside) Mirrors. AM/FM stereo with the display showing the time. There is a Rear window defogger/defroster, and a Power Trunk Release in the center of the dash. All 4 windows go up and down properly. The heater works very well and the Air Conditioner gets really cold. The seats are manual seats. They are 50/50 seats and have folding arm rests towards the middle on each seat. The cigarette lighter looks as if it has ‘never’ been used. The whole interior does NOT smell like it has ever been smoked in. The ash tray has 2 cup holders and the cigarette lighter all in one sliding tray in the dash. That door or tray is hard to get open, but I think a little WD-40 or something like that would help that situation. The interior could stand to be vacuumed and other than that, it is a very clean and well kept interior. No rips or tears in the seats, carpeting, floor mats, dash or headliner. Remember, there are no floor mats in the back floorboard. The back seat is loose from the mounts. The KSP take it out to remove their 2-way radio equipment and seldom put them back properly. There is NO SPARE TIRE but there is a tire jack in the trunk. Be sure to look at the pictures. This vehicle was running while these pictures were being taken.
