I bought this vehicle about 3 years ago from some low life on Ebay. The engine was not as described. This is a Texas vehicle. When I purchased the vehicle I towed it from Texas to North Carolina. On its arrival, I came to the conclusion that the engine was shot. I then had it trailered to Ohio. I had the engine removed and put in a used 4.3L Vortec with 53,000 miles on it. New clutch, new carburetor, new starter motor. We worked out about 90% of its bugs. We believe that the jets are too large in the carburetor. We drove the vehicle about 250-300 miles with no overheating problems. I then had it trailered back to North Carolina. The vehicle has sat in the garage here for about 2 years as I have had no time to do anything with it and I am never going to get to it. The vehicle has new tires and rims, and a new convertible top. There is no rust on this vehicle. It is going to make for an excellent project for someone. It is missing the right latch for the convertible top. I have confidence in the engine I had put in it.
