Up for sale is a 2008 CBR1000RR track bike with just under 14700 miles, most of them on the street. It was converted to track use last year after which I did about 10 track days. The track plastic has been sold to a friend but still have some of the street body work which is in excellent condition including headlights, side panels, belly pan, taillight, seat, fasteners, etc. Some items have been sold with the track bodywork including the front fender, tank cover, and rear cowl. In the interest of full disclosure, the bike was low sided at very low speed at the track, basically a tip over and slide on grass which only scratched the stator cover, no other damage. It also developed an intermittent starting problem; sometimes it kicks off straight away other times it’s a bear to start. I do not have the time or expertise to diagnose the problem but anyone willing to spend some time investigating should be able to fix it. In order to facilitate a fast sale, it is listed at $3300 with clean title in hand. The low price gives the potential buyer options to either convert it to street or track use with a small investment or part it out and make some money. I'm not interested in parting it out and prefer to sell as is so please don’t ask me to sell individual parts.
