I bought this 1989 Honda CR250R 6 years ago with the intention of racing the decade class in local vintage motocross. This class is for bike over 10 years old, not old enough for vintage but too new to compete against modern bikes. The 1989 CR250 was Hondas first bike with upside down forks, it is, as you can see very much like the last 2 stroke sold by Honda ,with a steel frame. This bike was ridden as a desert bike, I don't think it was raced. Its very stock with the exception of Renthal handlebars and an FMF silencer, there is a kickstand accessory on the swing arm, this is common for a desert bike. I replaced the plastic and graphics after I bought it with quality reproduction pieces, the seat cover is new as well. I rode the bike once in the desert, it ran great,the suspension worked well. Nothing leaks, the bike has sat under cover now since that ride. Everything seems to work as it should. I have always liked this year CR250, it has the cool low boy pipe and with the upside down forks has a modern appearance. I don't have a title, dirt bikes didn't need one until recently in Arizona. I will provide a bill of sale, if you absolutely need a title I can get one through the DMV for an additional $250. I will work with the buyer on shipping, all costs and arrangements are buyer responsibility . If you are overseas I will be happy to work with your shipping company. Again, however, all arrangements and costs are to be paid for by new owner. No warranty or guarantees, this bike ran well when I put it away, should run well now. Please ask any questions.
