Vehicle Detail

I have up for sale my 1994 Jeep Wrangler. This Jeep is a 4 wheel drive, 4cyl, with a 5 speed manual transmission a soft top, and working factory air conditioning. This Jeep has been my daily driver for the past 6-7 months. It's been SUPER reliable. It starts and runs well every day and gets really good gas mileage. I only live 9 miles from my job so a full tank usually lasts me about 2 weeks. It has the fuel injected 2.5 liter 4 cyl which runs like a champ. The motor pulls strong and has great oil pressure. As I stated above this Jeep starts for me every day. The trans is the 5 speed manual which shifts smoothly into all gears. The clutch is only about a year old and works excellent. The 4 wheel drive works well it goes into and out of 4wd with no issues. Mechanically this Jeep is solid. It is also Pennsylvania state safety inspected until March of 2013. Everything works in this Jeep from the heat which gets very warm in the cold weather to the A/C which blows cold but not super ice cold. Honestly that never bothered me as I've only used the A/C one or two times. If it's a very hot day the A/C will keep the inside of the Jeep cool but due to it having a soft top, it will never be freezing inside like a regular car. As I said I barely used the A/C, it's just way too much fun to have the top down on this Jeep. The Jeep has a replacement soft top which is about 4-5 years old and it's still in very good condition. I have a set of the soft windows with the hard window sliders and also the zip up plastic windows. I use the sliders because they are just so much better than the old style zipper windows. The top actually goes up and down easily. I've done it so many times that I can usually take the top down in a hair under 15 minutes. There's nothing more fun than cruising your Jeep with the soft top down! Mechanically this Jeep is very solid. The body is in decent condition. It still has the original red paint job which is 18 years old and has some scratches here and there. The previous owner made some rust repairs and painted over the repairs with a shade of red that was just a bit off. You can tell that the paint is off if you look closely. The body is overall solid for a Jeep. It does have a few minor rust spots but nothing that would cause you to fail a safety inspection. The driver's side floor pan was replaced and welded in nicely. The passenger side rear frame rail had a small section that was rusted through (very common for the Wrangler) I bought a frame repair section from a company called quadratec and my buddy and I cut out the rusted area and welded the repair section in. It looks like both front fenders were replaced with aftermarket replacements. If you know Jeeps you know that the tops of the fenders were very prone to rusting out. Most likely the factory fenders rusted through like so many of them do and the previous owner just bought and installed new ones rather than fixing the old ones. The paint is older and has it's share of scratches but hey it's a Jeep and that's OK on a Jeep. If I were keeping it, I'd probably take it into a Maaco and get myself a $3-400.00 paint job just to make it look a little nicer but honestly it looks OK as is. The interior is on OK shape. The dash is clean with no cracks. All of the gauges work as does the blower for the A/C and heat. I have an aftermarket Pioneer stereo installed with a hook up for your Ipod and also a nice sound bar. The front seats are worn but covered with a nice set of moisture resistant seat covers. The back seat is fine. The front carpet was removed and never replaced but the back section is still there. The brakes and shocks are fine, there's no leaking from underneath and the rest of the frame is in good condition. The Jeep has aftermarket shackles to raise the suspension about an inch or so allowing the use of a set of 31 "BF Goodrich All Terrain tires. As you can see in the pictures these tires are not very old and have tons of tread life left. These tires will be great this winter if we get any kind of snow. Overall its a fun little Jeep that's great in the summer with the top down and also goes through anything you can throw at it in the winter. If you know Jeeps you know that they are great in the snow. My old 93 Wrangler NEVER got stuck. I bought this Jeep because I had a 93 Wrangler brand new and I've always wanted another Wrangler. However I am 44 years old and I admit that I forgot how Jeeps drive. As much as I love it, I'd actually like a daily driver that has a little more creature comforts. I'm only selling because I've been opffered the opportunity to buy a low mileage 2003 Chevy Blazer from a family member. I'd love to keep the Jeep and the Blazer but you can see in the pics that I also have a restored 68 Firebird. It's not practical for me to have 3 vehicles so the Jeep has to go if I want the Blazer. I've taken this Jeep to the Jersey shore and the Pocono mountains with no issues. My kids loved taking the Jeep to the beach with the top down. I'm hoping whoever buys it gets as much enjoyment out of it as I did. Please feel free to ask any additional questions or email me if you need to see any additional pictures.
