Offered on behalf of one of my clients, one 1963 Fiat 1200 Cabriolet, one owner car from new purchased in Seattle WA at Metro Motors in 1963 Original first issue WA State title. Car has original paint and interior. Ignition switch seems to be having some problems not wanting to turn, missing the lock and the drivers door button is messed up and will have to be replaced. Some minimal rust shown in pictures.Engine turns over and has compression on Cylinders 1,2, 4 No. 3 has no compression leading me to believe that it has a burned valve.Car over all is very solid and shows no signs of ever being wrecked.Has very rare factory steel hardtop.soft top and frame is tucked away under cover below the rear window of hard top. Car still has brakes but owing to the age I would figure on rebuilding them along with the rest of the car. The car is missing the two small chrome strips behind the hard top as well as missing the Fiat strip in the middle of the grille. The Fiat 1200 badge in the rear on the trunk is broken but complete. Car has been clearly garaged for most of its life and has been off road since 1979. A few small spare parts in the very clean trunk are included with the car. Very complete and tidy under the hood, original Weber 2bbl carb and original aircleaner, never had extraneous modifications. Original radio in dash, instruments in very nice condition. After market Offenhauser Tachometer on dash. Make no mistake the car is not drive able in its current condition. If ever there was an excellent restoration candidate this is it. The car could be done as a sympathetic restoration to preserve its original nature, but would benefit from a complete restoration. Because of the solid nature of the car it will be a very straight forward restoration.
