Vehicle Detail

Where to start on this classic bike. Everything is all original minus air filter to help it breath better in the dusty Airzona atmosphere. It was manufactured January 1970. It is a "numbers matching" bike with only 63 numbers apart from each other. Engine #136970 and Frame #137033 so this is a very early KO model. It has a clean title and is currently plated for the street. Its a very strong running bike that pulls great through all the gears and tops out around 45 MPH. I ride this bike EVERYWHERE. I'm pretty confident in this getting me where I have to go and get back to. It has 5,900 miles on the odometer and I can honestly say almost half of those miles where put on by me. It has new points, condensor, coils (stator and lighting), new battery. The seat pan in is AWESOME shape with no cracks or dents. There is a sticker from "Camelback Honda" dating from 1978 where they performed an oil change and I would assume this is where the bike was purchased. Very cool piece of history to go along with this Honda Trail. I noticed the headlight flickering on and off sometimes so would assume the ignition switch could use some contact cleaner, all wires are connected and nothing appears grounded. Tailight bulb filament is burned out but brake bulb works. Rear brake could use new shoes (brake pedal goes down further than it should). Muffler mount is split and I have it tied up but would only need an easy weld. Recently started to have a couple drips of oil come from the left side cover. I did get a genuine Honda seal kit for it but never got around to putting it on. Front tire will prob need to be replaced in the near future. Vinal cracked in the back part of the seat but isnt an actual rip/tear. Upper part of the kickstarter where it swivals out broke off when i went to kick it over one cold morning but can be welded back on. I dont have a welder on-hand or else I would fix these simple problems. I have tried to do the best describing this bike even for the minor flaws that will take very little effort and money to fix. I want the buyer to know exactly what he/she is buying. I have a box of different lubricants and oils along with misc. parts that will come with the bike. My feedback speaks for itself so PLEASE bid with confidence. ANY question don't hesitate to ask and I would encourage anyone to come see this bike for themselves, it's certainly nice. Payment must be paid and picked up within 7 days of the ending auction. On Nov-15-12 at 13:15:49 PST, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention a few things. This also has the original tool kit underneath the seat with none of the tools missing inside. I can deliver for a fee as long as it is not a very far drive. I was asked about shipping and paypal so if you are interested in this and cannot pick it up, contact me PRIOR to the auction ending. On Nov-15-12 at 18:27:43 PST, seller added the following information: If you want addition pictures, just let me know what exactly you wanted me to take pictures of and I will email them to you.
