The photos of this vehicle clearly speak for themselves. This is bone stock original 1978 first year downsized Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The actual mileage is 91,740. To my knowledge I am the 3rd owner as the previous owner got it from original old man who had it since 78! In the event it was a "show car" it would be $10k or better. There are two in my area that are show pieces, one is 15k and the other 25k. ( I will be happy to pass on the info if that's what you are looking for). The paperwork is a clean NY tittle in my name. The car is now on the road. New fuel line was installed front to back as well as gas tank and brake lines. Engine runs amazing 305 V8, carb was rebuilt. No known mechanical failure. Again photos speak for themselves as to what car is. Chassis and floors are PERFECT! This also has a rare factory PLASTIC trunk lid. Research tells me that about one in every 38 Monte Carlos were fitted with these as experiment to create fuel economy. Vehicle also has working power windows, doorlocks and factory alumium brake drums. Interior is near flawless. Keep in mind this is an UNRESTORED 35 year old car. It's condition is amazing. I priced it at "BUY IT NOW" to move it right away. I have a local towman for additional cost who can get it to your door.(pay him direct). Anything beyond 400 miles you need to get a transporter.
