50 Ford Sedan 4 Door Flat Head V8 3Speed Manual, LOW RESERVE OF ONLY $1,500.00 Car is my Dad's, last driven aprox 5 years ago,all mechanicals where good including motor, trans, rear end, clutch, brakes, when parked. The water pump will most likley leak when coolant is added, we have a spare flat head motor for sale seperatly, not included in this auction, Dad say's if a battery were installed and fuel added fluids checked it should be drivable. This just added from Dad, 1950 Ford Custom Deluxe 4 Door Sedan. V8 three speed standard transmission. Stored inside, ran when parked four years ago. Odometer shows 17,000 miles. Engine started easily and ran well, but is worn, mechanically sound, no loose rods or burnt valves, has oil pressure. One water pump began leaking while in storage. Body is straight and solid, rocker panels, lower rear front fenders, rear quarter panels, trunk lid, etc. are in good shape. Original six volt system, generator charges OK. Clutch, transmission, and rear end are good. Front suspension is tight, but king pins have some minor movement. Floor and trunk floor panels need replaced. The car was a barn find. Brakes work. Gas tank needs cleaned. All upholstery and headliner need replaced. Some new dash parts and other parts with car. The straight, solid body and good drive train make this a good candidate for a restoration to original condition, or a rat rod. Clean, Clear Ohio title in hand Update, The spare motor is a 1949 8ba wide belt motor, turns over freely and we will be offering it to the buyer of the 50 model ford for an additional $950.00 above the selling price and may have a few other parts to throw in, clutch assy ect, with the motor.
