2005 Silverado SS, V8 6.0 Liter, AWD < Description >This is a 2005 Silverado SS, the last year that they made the AWD version of this vehicle. It comes with the 6.0L V8, which has had an after market supercharger added to it. (Magna Charger, installed professionally) Also, this came stock with the 20" wheels that you see on it. My brother bought this truck brand new in Las Vegas, my dad owned it after him, and now I own it. We have always taken good care of it and the history is completely known. < Upgrades >Supercharger, Chipped, Intercooler, Fuel pump booster - completed and calibrated at the same timeLowering Springs - Truck is lowered about 2" from stock, ride is stiffer.Drilled / Slotted Rotors - 1 mo. ago.DENSO Iridium Spark Plugs - 15K miles agoPioneer Head Unit - I have the stock one too if you prefer, its an easy swap out. The Pioneer is capable of playing DVDs, but I did not bypass the safety to make them viewable. (I can explain) Also, the controls on the steering wheel are not currently hooked up to the Pioneer, however they can be rather easily. Satellite radio is also hooked up to the Pioneer head unit.Bosch Fuel and Water Pumps - 20K Miles agoTrailer hitch installed behind license plate < Condition >Overall very good condition. The paint looks great, except for the blemishes I will do my best to describe. However, please examine the high res pictures closely so there are no surprises. Paint - There are some minor stone chips along the front of the hood, usual from highway driving. There is on scuff on the passenger side bumper, you can see in the photos. Sides are in good shape. Liftgate has a light scratch across the back that doesn't show up in the pictures. The only significant body damage is on the driver side roof over the rear window. The roof was dented from a tree branch and was never fixed, although I got it quoted around $400 to fix at a local body shop. (see the detail in the pics) Other than that, the paint looks pretty good around the truck. Mechanical - This truck is running excellent right now. Everything feels smooth and still has a ton of power. Engine and tranny seem to be working great. We have always run premium fuel and Mobil 1 oil. All belts were just replaced. There are only minor known issues that I will list here. The largest issue is that the front driver side CV joint will need to be replaced sometime soon. (The parts are cheap, not sure how much labor will cost) It is not an immediate problem, but should be addresses within the next 10K miles. I would recommend just having both front CV joints replaced at the same time. There is minor brake squeal from the brake job I just did, but it is caused by a broken tab on the brake pads which is causing pad vibration. The rotors and pads are still functioning well and they are brand new, but it is up to you if you want to replace pads. Tires will need to replaced in the next 10 - 15K miles. (They have worn perfectly due to regular tire rotations, still some tread depth left on them) Heating and Cooling - Heat and A/C work well, no issues. Heated seats work well too. Heated mirrors are also properly working. Update: Oil changed and tires rotated on 11/5 - Full Synthetic Mobil 1 5W 30, tires checked out OK. They have some life left on them, but if you live somewhere with snow you might want to consider new tires for safety.
